Beautiful medium ruby color, with aromas and flavors of fig, blackberry pie, raisin, sweet tobacco and chocolate, with sandalwood, spice and mineral notes. Velvety but pleasantly chalky in texture, very long, it is grippy but the tannins are rounded and well-integrated. Dry and well-balanced, with medium acidity. Well preserved for a half-bottle. 15% abv. A gem. — 6 years ago
Very consistent in style, compared to the last vintage, except for the tannins, which are angular and distracting from the usual, generous black fruit and wet slate I expected. A good red, but it's currently unbalanced and needs a couple more years in bottle for the tannins to integrate. — 6 years ago
Light gold in color, with green apple and crushed oyster shell on the nose, with tropical fruit, jasmine, and honey notes. Similar on the palate, with additional lychee and herbal characteristics. Mouthwatering acidity, medium-bodied, good finish, and a really good value. — 7 years ago

Another hit. I rated this earlier and found it to be lackluster. Good thing I gave it a second chance. After it warmed up a little and had about 30 minutes to breathe, it was delightful! Meaty and fruity nose, with a great mineral character. White pepper, some herbal and red floral notes. Good balance, have this with spicy grilled chicken and you'll be happy. — 6 years ago

Bright citrus and passion fruit aromas, with notes of wet granite and white pepper. Medium body with citrus and apple, more mineral and some fizz, zippy acidity and a lingering finish. This Minho always delivers! — 6 years ago
