Delicious Barolo. Haven’t had this producer before. Quite classic with an edge of modernity in the seamlessness of the finish. Great dark fruit, bit of earth and leather, excellent acid, tannins are obviously there but not overwhelming (especially with steak). Quite delicious. — 8 days ago

Riserva Dei Padre Serviti 2018. Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, leather, red berry; on the palate, cherry, plum, leather, oak. Strong tannins. Finish of cherry and vanilla. The more it opened up the more balanced it became. Notes of anise and florals presented. Tannins calmed. Much more balanced, full bodied. Powerful. — 4 months ago
