Birthday Wine at Octave in Bangkok. Some easy drinking wine — 6 years ago
Dark berry fruits, oak, nice tannic structure, black pepper galore. Very nice. — 6 years ago
Not bad but a tad bit too high on alcohol for me to enjoy it — 7 years ago

Didn't knock my socks off like the 2010 did, but possibly just because it was in a bit more awkward a stage - I'm drinking the leftovers now a week later and it's way better put together, with a sandy, oceanic minerality that makes this taste like Chablis in a deeper octave. — 11 years ago
BlairAthol 27 (Octave Premium) it’s got a sweet, brown sugar, raisin nose. It’s hot on the palate. It fills the mouth but has some heat on it. Finish goes for a while mainly due to the heat. When that fades after the first taste it’s rich with that brown sugar, little bit of wood but good flavor. — a year ago
A dry white from Samos , beautiful ! zingy acidity , slightly nutty after taste . Long and very good . — 6 years ago
Wonderstuff!
Although it’s non-vintage, it was disgorged in 2017. — 6 years ago
This is the best bottling I've had from these guys. On the second day it really is hitting all the notes with about a three octave range. — 8 years ago
Cotton candy sweet on nose. Nice vanilla strawberry flavor. Very nice. — 9 years ago

This was *extremely* fizzy, foaming up like a carbonated soft drink, but fortunately I was able to shake it out. It's very different from the 2012 vintage I had last year - deeper in color, taking on an almost rose-gold tint in the glass, with flavors in a commensurately deeper register. This seems as close as you can get to extracting some of the skin flavors of pinot gris without actually making a skin-contact wine. There are some ginger and pepper notes (and of course a sharp slice of acidity) adding some high tones to a profile that's otherwise in a very low octave for a white wine. — 10 years ago
Slightly sweet, tingly, light — 5 years ago
This is re-casked (believe correct term) in an Octave and therefore only 60 bottles available. I and the tasting group did not taste some of the flavor profile the bottler saw - pear/citrus and found it more wood/dried fruits/caramel/toffee. This one was the darkest brown if the group and I found the most flavorful. It’s power at 51.8%. Adding a drop of water I thought really changed the profile and made it run hotter for me. The finish on this lasts well past a minute. I usually don’t notice the finish for that long but this one stayed there for a whole and made so you didn’t forget it. Might be best if the night or at least tied with Blackadder. — 5 years ago
The 2015 Pepper Bridge Merlot is an excellent bottling which was sourced from the Seven Hills, Pepper Bridge and Octave Vineyards. The Merlot has 14% Cabernet Franc and 7% Malbec blended in. This shows perfumed red fruits and toasty oak on the nose. The palate has a smooth texture and lovely mouthfeel. Bright, mouthwatering acidity connects with red cherry cordial, black tea, and blackberry pie flavors. While this is rich it also displays notable tension. Enjoy this delicious effort over the next decade. Drink 2019-2029- 92 — 7 years ago

Blackberries, dark cherries, mix of blue fruits, vanilla, cinnamon, black licorice and pyrazines, black raspberry cola and fresh red florals. Palate has ripe fruit of; blackberries, black cherries, mix of blue fruits, plum, black raspberries cola. Black licorice, light spice, cinnamon, vanilla, clove, nutmeg, tobacco, soft leather, dry stems & M+ dusty tannins & body. Round acidity and a candied, long, elegant finish. Like drinking silk, hints of chocolate and pepper, chewy dried berries and cherries. Great with local grass fed steak and roasted root veggies. — 10 years ago

Terrific balance and depth to the 2018. Need to understand how this unbelievable combination of eight grapes yields such a Bordeaux-like character. Really amazing. . — a year ago
