Founded in 2015 by star oenologist Mario Ercolino, “Compagnia Siciliana 1921” shows Sicily from its best side. The number 1921 was inspired by the year that was most important for the production and trade of Sicilian wine. Ruby red color with aromas of ripe berry fruits, spice and sweet notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum with herbs, caramel and hints of floral, nuts and herbs. Medium+ finish, fine tannins ending with fruit, spice, licorice and sweet nutty earthy notes. Nice. — 2 years ago
