I loved this - smells sweet and decadent but is much drier than you'd think and extremely well balanced — 5 years ago

Soil, leaves, mushroom, decay. Light barnyard, soft and savory with almost no tannin. Seemingly very little oak. — 5 years ago
Almost a nectarine taste. Lovely — 5 years ago
Amazing quality/price ratio. Graphite and black pepper aromatics points to the smidge of Syrah, blackberries with super fine tannins, ably supported with a lovely vanillin finish. — 8 years ago
Really crisp- goes down the middle between oaky/buttery — 5 years ago

A dark yellow - pale gold. See previous Delectable note from 145 weeks ago - this is most impressive. Aromatics of fruit salad, quince and herbs. A mouthful of flavour with fruit salad - quite tropical. Very different to the Chenin Blanc I had recently from the Loire Valley. This is advanced in its drinking window but still with a moreish refreshing acid finish. Chenin Blanc - an unsung hero from New Zealand. One of the 1001 wines. — 9 months ago
