Vidonia Viñas Viejas Valle de la Orotava Listan Blanco 2020

Lovely. Thought it was a Chablis in our blind. Very mineral-driven, bright, and textural. I thought it had a touch of oxidative musk, but it didn’t detract from the quality of the wine. One to revisit. — 2 months ago

I really love this wine, biological.. smooth and with a great persistent. It is not too much alcoholic even if it is 14°. — 5 months ago

Zeta Viñas Viejas de Pegaso Vino de Garnacha 2019

Light bodied, but 14.5%. Very nice fruit- bramble blackberries with some spice and solid tannins. Very nice wine. Suspect this is a drinker, not a keeper. — 23 days ago

Primeras Viñas Malbec

A slightly richer, fruitier style of high altitude Malbec (hot vintage?) with ripe plum & dark cherry, elegantly integrated wood aging. This is supple yet elegant, smooth and with good depth. Quite sophisticated and yet so delicious. A true crowd pleaser and with very good reason! — 4 months ago

Sierra Mar Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

Delectable Wine
9.3

The 2021 Pinot Noir Sierra Mar Vineyard is a wild wine. Strong mineral and savory notes are front and center, while the fruit is more pushed into the background. This potent, driving Pinot will need a year or two to soften, but I expect it will always be rather forbidding. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)
