Highly rated for a reason. It’s quite good. — 3 months ago
Lovely garnet colour. Dark fruit, some spice, a touch of mint and pencil shavings on the nose. Too sweet for my taste on the palate but good balance of acidity and ripe tannin. Plump ripe texture. — 9 months ago

Another amazing lagarde wine but elevated. Comes with an increased price tag, however — a month ago
This wine is inky dark, with no light getting through the glass. Black fruit provides the sweet part of the nose, while tar, earth, tobacco, and coffee cover the savory side. Blackberry and plum flavors are joined on the palate by earthy minerals and a brisk acidity. The tannins are firm and seem to eagerly await a pairing with some beef. It’s a delicious wine, so if you’re not pairing it with food, that’s okay. — 4 months ago
Smooth, hints of smokey flavor. — 23 days ago
Just delicious, well balanced, smooth tannins. Drinking well now but has plenty of life left too — a month ago
Good Argentinian Cabernet. Mendoza is becoming a serious powerhouse in wine. Their Malbecs are impressive and now they are producing quality Cabs. $30 for a 1.5 L from Total Wines. — 7 months ago
