Chelle den Millie Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2016

An amazing wine being enjoyed at an amazing location, overlooking the first tee box at Tetherow. Much like the course, the wine shows major verve and class. Wonderful acidity provides backbone to the predominantly citrus and secondary stone fruit. — 3 years ago

Wonderful Duoro. Too bad nobody imports it in the US — 5 years ago

Chelle den Millie Vineyard Malbec 2014

Still pretty tight, essence of blackberries, cedar, vanilla and and a pleasing vegetal note (think fresh ancho chilies just plucked from the plant) on the nose. On the palette the dark berry flavors combine with hefty, chalky tannins and sweetness from the vanilla combine for a very nice treat. ❤️ — a month ago

La Justice Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir 2015

So good. I think this is my first post in 105 weeks. I guess i took a break. We got a puppy. Her name is Millie. We should all drink Gevrey like this every night and things would be so much better. Good to be back. — 2 months ago

Les Chenevottes Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2011

Falling for all the first hints of autumn. Tonight, it’s roasted Red Kuri squash and Chassagne-Montrachet. This wine is in a great place, striking its balance between fresh, vibrant acid structure on the palette and seductive toasted hazelnuts, toasted sesame, and red apple spice driving the nose. Marzipan / almond skin, oxidized apples, pastry dough, and green carrot tops are amongst some of the deeper pleasures of the nose of this wine. Delicious!
Perfectly paired with Gillian Welch & Lucinda Williams in the speakers.
