For some reason really loving Rosso di Montalcino of late. Might try to plan a trip there for 2022! This one is so seamless with velvet tannins. Quite aromatic. Wonderful dark red fruit, lifting acid, perfect with skirt steak on the grill. Very nice. — 3 years ago

@Pooneet K montalcino is stunning. I haven’t been since spring of 2015, but if you like amazing scenery, Sangiovese , rare steak, and truffled pasta, I would say it is for you.

Love the first three, find truffled pasta a bit overrated. But still seems worth the trip. Going to try for May next year!
