2018 vintage.
76 % Cabernet Franc, 15 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 9 % Malbec. 20 months in French oak barriques.
All estate fruit from 3 vineyards in Naramata: Rockyfeller, Golden Mile and Freedom 75. All fruit is hand picked and sorted.
Dark ruby red in colour. Ripe raspberries, black fruit, eucalyptus and cigar box on the nose.
Cassis, dark berries, savoury herbs and scrub brush with smooth, fine tannins and a crisp, acidic fresh finish.

This one is quite worth a try. An Okanagan Bordeaux-type blend. The Cab Franc is quite evident here with a bit of sweetness that is quite interesting. We had it with grilled lamb and potatoes. — 7 years ago
