I don't think I've had an example of this wine vinified by Virginie until now. In my humble opinion, quality is WAY UP now. Too many pre-2006 examples were mealy, oxidized and awkwardly alcoholic. I'm glad to see one of the world's most enviable vineyard sites skew toward quality rather than simply bio-d dogma (again -- humbly opining). — 8 years ago

2011 Sec Bourillon Dorleans Vouvray La Coulee d' Argent Straw Yellow and pleasing to the eye. Floral notes on the nose with hints of green apple and perfume. Good acidity and dryness. Very enjoyable. Good citrus notes. This would pair well with any fish. For the price point well worth the $20 Bones. — 11 years ago
