Nice dry clean fresh tasting sake to open the dinner. At Nanza GiriGiro. — a year ago
Grown anywhere else, I would give this dry muscat a 8.5. But there is a subtle, forest stream like charm that comes through the tongue that I can't help to compare to many of the sakes that compare themselves to the mountain snow and springs from the same continent. I know I know, it must be a placebian effect right? I don't know- judge for yourself. — 3 years ago
Brdx blend. 12.5%. Medium bodied. Elegant. Mint, earth. Smooth. This impressed a lot of wine pros at dinner. — 2 months ago
Medium body with some smooth texture, zesty citrus — 9 months ago
Thank god, success for koshu. Amber, peach, geraniums, and the usual citrus nose. This really makes up for the lack of depth and body in non mac koshu. It's still a light wine but there's an evolution from orange peel, peach, and softer floral flavours into a more chalky citrus finish. Its pretty awesome. We'll done mercian. — 4 years ago
Very nice. Light beginning, heavy mid to after. Feel tannins, full body and quite “round - smooth carved edges” impression but fruity easy to drink lightness that makes it sticky. Toward Merlot? 65% Petit Verdot, 24% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon. Need to try again. — 5 months ago
Super light like Verdicchio, slight peach and white flower — a year ago
甲州を樽で寝かせたという私的にはあまり響かない作り。
しかし、その重奏感というか奥行きの素晴らしさに圧巻。
果実の膨らみに程よい樽が広がって、甲州らしい酸がしっかり締める。 — 3 years ago
Found another lovely Japanese Sparkling ~ — 4 years ago

A glass of Japanese white at the fabulous Hotel Mitsui in Kyoto. Very similar to a Sauvignon Blanc, more specifically a Sancerre from the Loire. Most impressive. I didn’t get to try a Japanese Red yet on this visit but might seek one out in Tokyo tonight. — 4 days ago
