Fruit is from the Rocks District near Walla Walla. Aromas of dill pickles, caramel, black currant and dark cherry. Same flavors as above with hints of tar, black pepper, smoked meat and tobacco. Hint of dark chocolate on the finish. Balanced acidity and long finish. Dark purple color. Nice! Revisited in October 2020. Still Outstanding! Revisited again in May 2023. Aging gracefully! 67% Cab 33% Syrah. Nose- Opening a can of tennis 🎾. Forest floor, tobacco leaf ,spices, plums, black olives. Edit- After a good decanting it blossomed. Drink them up in the next 3/5 years. — 9 years ago
