Gorgeous nose of dust, sour cherry, early season cherry and a hint of morello cherry. Lovely and utterly classic. Really the most Burgundian Jewel nose ever. Palate is silky and elegant and the fruit is earthy and sweet but only barely sweet. Very juicy, refined and lithe. Long finish. Needs to open but just so classic. — 25 days ago
Gorgeous wine which manages to offer lightness and transparency, but also well defined stone fruit aromas and flavors. Juicy acidity and soft minerality frame the finish; this is dangerously easy to drink. — 9 years ago
Vintage 2021 | My Summer rosé. Rheinhessen. Lots of character and quite powerfull taste. 86% Spätburgunder 7% Fruhburgunder 7% Cabernet Sauvignon — a year ago
Can’t quite put my finger on what it is, but there’s something about this wine that I really like. Great balance, minerality, acid, just a whiff of fruit, feeling of a bit of sweetness without being off dry, nice finish. Enjoyed. — 6 months ago
A true beauty; lively, elegant and still very primary, but doubtlessly it has the backbone to evolve into something spectacular. Good concentration, but refined and feminine as well. — 9 years ago
