Riserva, not base. This was in excellent shape and paired well with pasta with lamb , and truffle/basil. — 3 years ago
Nicely balanced. Nose has smoky rock dust, crunchy cherry, and a hint of cinnamon. Round and fruity on entry, it’s got good concentration, a soft texture, and a fairly long finish with some soft tannins making an appearance in the back half of the palate to accompany the dry cherry syrup flavors. — 5 years ago

Not a lot on the nose here. But Judeka certainly wakes up on the palate. Traditional Sicilian white varietals are mellowed with Chardonnay. No oak used in the aging process keeps the palate fruit forward. Mostly peach and apricot. There’s a perky green apple note on the finish. Well proportioned acidity and some sage on the finish. An unique wine. — 3 years ago
