Shimmering pale straw w/flecks of green - big petrol on nose along w/finely detailed slate, lemon, lime and white flowers. Razor sharp acidity, angular w/slightest hint of silk - more citrus, slate & golden apple on palate leading to dry finish. Teutonic precision here. — 5 years ago
Pale brown. Caramel, fresh savory herbs, brine, oyster shell, powder sugar, raisin and fig. Asphalt and tar on the palate. Fortified, late harvest passerillage, no botrytis. Fermented on skins. 17.5% abv. — 7 years ago
Easy drinking. Berry and vanilla — 7 years ago
The wine keeps evolving over a couple of hours. It gets cleaner with each tasting. The caramel color scared me at the outset, but it keeps improving — 7 years ago
Smooth, rich berries. Mild bitter, tartness on initial taste transitions to a velvety smooth dark cherry fruit that is lightly sweet with a lingering dryness. Pairs well with spicy food — 8 years ago

Revisiting this burly beast almost a year later and it’s still as it was before: terrific. Impenetrable dark crimson with a little more bricking going on. Vanilla, lavender, a good bit of oak, and blueberries on the nose. At almost eleven years old, this doesn’t remind me so much of a standard Napa Can but rather a nice Bordeaux. The heat from the alcohol has definitely settled down and is presenting some wonderful balance. There’s still some fruit here with layers of blueberries, cherries, and cranberries. Tobacco, coffee, and leather on the palate. This is a wine that’s absolutely singing right now. All hail to Last Bottle. Just like I said a year ago, powerful, ripe fruit, and great structure. — 7 years ago

Great wine to enjoy with a friend or alone!
Before I opened, refrigerated for 20 minutes and The more I let it breathe the more I enjoyed the wine. The Tempranillo grape used for this wine, made it a wine I would definitely drink again. — 3 years ago
Sweet but good red — 6 years ago
What a great Temp! It really reminded me a strong West Texas Tempranillo. It paired well with Antelope blackstrap. — 7 years ago
Jen and Nick shared gave to us. Very smooth. Drank with Marty in 3/4/19. Marty liked it a lot — 7 years ago
Big, rich and bold. Lightly sweet up front and tart + spice on the back. A bit on the tart side of the spectrum for me. Tart fruits really pop! — 8 years ago
