Totally savory. So complex. So delicious. Powerful. Channels scotch whisky with some flavors. Wow! Not dead yet

Savory, salty, smoky. Rich, bold, amazing

This was so affecting that I was having taste auras the following day each time.
I was pouring this at night as a sipper like I would a scotch

This Chateau Chalon 1945 was perhaps slightly more open than I would’ve liked, though with 36 month Comté, I was enthusiastically impressed. Grateful for such invincible wines. Waxy, toffee, cocoa, tea, brown butterscotch. — 6 years ago
