This wine is a great casual drink especially after some much needed aeration. But also as a Private Chef this wine was a perfect addition to the sauce of the Short Ribs I made for a client last weekend. It gave incredible balance to the tomato paste and melded wonderfully with the thyme and rosemary which wasn’t a surprise due to the vanilla. What made it so great is that fact that it didn’t lose it Cab presence in a sauce that typically can drown out most medium bodied Cabs. Definitely a new fav! — 13 days ago

Wine Spec gives this a 93 and only 395 cases +-! I give it the same. Need to be served at a cool 60 degrees. Great nose good fruit up front with just a touch of heat that goes away with breathing . Got better as it stayed open. Dark color. Cedar nose. A cab to be had young. A boutique bottle from a french winemaker. I didn't like it then took a deep breath and said " ok Jody don't be a snob it's not a name high end brand" Thought about it, closed my eyes and liked it. ! — 8 years ago
