Really digging this wine. Very earthy and Burgundian. Remarkably restrained for the vintage. Mushroom and barnyard notes to go along with the bright cherry and raspberry.
In Oct. 2017, this wine was in a really happy place. It could probably age for another 3 to 5 years but I can't really see much need to go any longer as it is drinking perfectly right now. — 8 years ago

Lovely - 21.99 on 2/17
For the 2014 Hamacher "H" he uses fruit from eight highly respected vineyards throughout Willamette Valley, with different clones, soil types and elevations. Juicy and loaded with black fruits (black raspberry and black cherry), spice and earth, the resulting wine completely over-delivers. Richly textured, it is just pure class. — 9 years ago

Fine acid-tannin backbone. Youthful, restrained, concentrated power. Best with additional bottle aging. — 3 years ago
