Fuller body. Yeast notes on nose. Yellow apples, ripe peach and minerality greystone. — 3 years ago
Bottom shelf Greystone. Savoury Canterbury character coming through. Leather, dried herbs, red cherry. Succulent and vibrant. Quite tannic. — 2 years ago
Length, great acidity. Combo of 3 blocks. Lemon and lime and more tropical fruit. Quite alot of oak influence but enough fruit and acid to give lift. — 2 years ago
Deep ruby. Very savoury, with sour cherries, and strong sandalwood spice. Fine tannins. Stemmy. A food wine. — 5 years ago
Earthy with light fruit flavors, soft going down +greystone public house — 8 years ago
Single block more limestone. Naturally lower yielding. More subtle than estate. Very long and dry, amazing citrus acid. Deeper and more structured. Would age well. 15+ yrs — 2 years ago
Very spicy, oak oriented nose. Clean, honest, and fresh. Palate is med bodied, cherry, sandalwood. Simple and quite short. Quaffable and a decent “village” Greystone, but the Estate is worth the extra $$ IMHO. — 2 years ago

Tasted in a virtual Master Class with Dom Maxwell. Wine fermented in the vineyard as the name suggests. What could possibly go wrong?! The results are spectacular. There is incredible balance and persistence - Nth Canterbury savoury elements mix perfectly with slightly sweet dark cherry. Not as singular or even age worthy as the Greystone Thomas Brothers, but a more complete and delicious wine. Also better p/q. Very strong buy for any Vosne lovers who don’t drive a Bugatti. — 2 years ago
