Very light and warm on the nose. Starts pleasantly sweet which is immediately followed by a dryness that not only compliments the flavor, but goes very well with a spread of peppered meats. A night that I needed (wanted) something comforting and very good - this fit the bill. Have to say I’m also a sucker for a signed bottle (kudos to Gio for signing this one!) Lots of strawberry and some raspberry mixed with blueberry on the nose and palate. A silky sensation that went down very smooth. All that being said, I think this might be well served with another 1-3 years on the rack. — 6 years ago

'09, the last year we had amazing grapes up here in the Emerald Triangle and this one proves it. Purchased in 2013 I had forgotten I had it. WOW!! Best I've ever had. Gio is simply amazing and continues to show he is, year after year. When back, and there it was! Couldn't believe the still had some...last bottle. Decisions, decisions. Gio is still outdoing himself. Amazing Olive Oil here too! A must if ever near "Dry Creek Valley" — 12 years ago
