Perfect amount of sweetness. Real good for the price. — 9 years ago
Hugel is always solid, and reasonably priced. It was my pleasure to taste this gem at a Wines of Alsace dinner in Portland. White flowers, white peaches and a quaint dab of kerosene, this is classic Alsatian Riesling. It boasts a "straight backbone", as our dinner host Thierry Fritsch described it, inlaid with stone fruit, and feels dry, even with 7.45 g/l residual sugar, enough to give it lushness and depth. This is one producer that is never disappointing. 12/4% ABV | Sample — 10 years ago
Ripe peach/apricot yellow fruit thing happening. Pie crust, honey, nectar. Great balance of fruit and acid. — 11 years ago
Not too sweet, not too dry. Just a pleasant body and taste. — 11 years ago
Absolutely love. Dry, tart, and develops a bit. Not too acidic. (Note: the photo is correct, but I contacted Delectable to add the right label to their database) — 5 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Medium lemon color with aromas of white flesh fruits, spice and herb notes. On the palate flavors of peach, melon and citrus flavors with black pepper spice, good balance, savory medium finish ending with slight mineral character. — 5 years ago
