Waxy, lemon and tart apple notes... very dry with lively acidity. Nice mid-palate weight and a long, lingering finish. Much more complex than the average Gavi di Gavi. Works well on a very hot July night in Rome. — 7 years ago

Yellow color, complex aromas of savory rice, hint of honey, ripe melon, minerality, bit of creaminess and slightly reductive character, med body, high acid, tight bubbles, silky dense texture with dry, mineral finish. Long finish with savory rice note. Nice quality alta langa, great for apprentivo but lso good with vitello tonato or creamy risotto with tartufo, or sweet gorgonzola cheese. — 8 years ago
