Grace Family Vineyards

Reliquus St Helena Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

2019 vintage. Second vintage of the second label of the historic and 1st wave cult Napa cab Grace Family Vineyards. Versus the main effort/big gun, this has a bit more acidity/tannins but is only slightly less delicious. Old school Napa cabbage for sure but without prejudice and attempting to rally future generations to the cause. Tremendous concentration. Roughly a fourth of the price of Grace Family Vineyards Estate Napa Cab. 292 cases made and 100% Cab but weird-ass packaging. C'mon peeps. 10.09.24. — 2 years ago

Cowpunk

Organic Pet Nat Chardonnay 2021

A big thank you to Fourth Wave Wines for this sample of the 2021 Cowpunk Pet Nat Chardonnay.

It falls in the category of a natural wine. Plus it’s also organic and vegan friendly with no added preservatives. It’s from a single site and is small batch with a $30 price tag.

It looks like cloudy apple juice in the glass and pretty much smells like Granny Smith apples 🍏 too - super crisp and enticing. Alongside the juicy apples there’s some pretty florals and zesty citrus peel. Dry and delicious. Tastes great and love the packaging.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
