Really good bright fruit. Raspberry. Drank with christmas eve dinner at summit club. Great with the turkey and roast beef. — 6 years ago
Monthly WTF group. Theme this month was merlot. All wines tasted blind.
I guessed this was French and that it was mid-2000s. Quite a bit of herbal notes, soft plum and stewed red and black fruits. Low acidity. Came across as over the hill a bit, which is surprising given the vintage. Still a nice merlot from Sonoma. — 7 years ago

Nose has light wood smoke, dried pineapple, crushed sandstone and light squeeze of tangerine.
Palate has dried pineapple, dried lemon zest and a light touch on the new oak treatment.
With a slight chill to the wine, it's mildly reminiscent of a Meursault, quite an intriguing bottle. — 6 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2021 pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of cassis, tobacco, some capsicum, organic earth, vanilla and a selection of cool and fine warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Very tasty and even more, fairly priced. Drink now through 2041. — 2 months ago
