Color is very dark ruby red boarding on purple. Aroma is heavy tobacco, coffee and cocoa. A distinct spicy earthy tone lies underneath the aggressive top aromas. Bold spicy plum/cherry sweetness up front with surprisingly subtle tannins finishing heavy with a sharp currant acidity. Getting more towards the bottom of the bottle leans the balance back towards the tannins and less to the acidity. — 4 days ago
