This is a Pinot Noir rosé from Graubunden. A deep orange-pink color in the glass. Perfumed flowers mid-palate but a flinty finish. Slightly bright but not quite fizzy. Interesting. Maybe the best Swiss rosé I’ve come across. Not quite up to Provençal high end or Bandol, but very good. — 6 months ago
Actually not as much acid as I would have preferred, but not too picky with pairings to be honest. Twas great with the chicken kebabs and kanafeh in a most of rose syrup. Down to flex the taste buds a bit!
Very good wine from Thomas Brown & the Marc Mondavi fam... Plus the label is like a Highlights picture search. Can you find the mountain lion?? — 11 years ago
