Not for those looking for power and extraction. More elegant and delicately complex in its development. Med garnet color, and pronounced nose of stewed plums, baking spice, nutmeg, blood sausage, clove graphite and sous bois. Medium bodied, refined tannin. Cocoa powder and fruit leather supported by a fresh supple acidity and a finish that goes just long enough. Drink now if you can find some. — 8 years ago
