Bianco. Gorgeous feel in the mouth. Subtle minerality — 2 years ago
A blend of Listán Blanco (Palomino) and several other native varieties - Malvasía, Forastera, Marmajuelo, Albillo Criollo, Vijariego Blanco and Gual – from various parcels in the village of Taganana in the north of Tenerife, each plot vinified separately. Fermented in concrete open vats (with short skin-macerations) and partially aged in steel (40%) and 228 and 600-liter oak barrels (60%) for about 8 months. Sea breeze, bitter orange and lightly oxidized notes on the nose. Complex, mineral, precise. Nice saltiness, long finish — 6 years ago
#albillo #canaryislands great stuff. Paired nicely with conservas! — 6 years ago
White peach, lemon curd, bay leaves, fennel, anise, wet stone, and sea salt. 90% Listan Blanco (or Palomino), 10% Albillo Criollo for acidity. 20% aged in French oak for 2-3 months. Lightly fined, no filtration. High minerality and salinity on the palate. Moderate minus acidity. Medium body. — 7 years ago

Very fruity top notes (berries), sweet, a bit spicy with a mild peppery aftertaste. Slightly acidic, dry with a smooth finish. — 8 years ago
More modern style. French oak and vanilla notes. Blackberry fruit. Still has Brunello notes, but not as rustic. Tannins are still pronounced. Paired well with criollo ribeye. Hold a few more years. Finish is impressive. — 9 years ago
Wonderful bold but smooth flavor. Hint of vanilla and soft wood finish. Easy drinker. Prefer to drink it by itself and not with a meal. On sale for 9€ — 10 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Named after family’s original parcel, “Locartas” is a highly expressive ambassador for the Güímar valley’s distinctive volcanic sands. The blend comprises eight individual parcels throughout the valley, planted nearly entirely to Listán Blanco (with 2-3% Albillo Criollo). Vinified in stainless steel and aged for six months in 90% steel and 10% French oak. Medium lemon color, aromas of fruits and nutty notes. Flavors of ripe apple and apricot, medium+ finish ending with fruit and savory salinity character. — 2 years ago
