a strong showing from Nick Goldschmidt, and the Alexander Valley at a nice sub $20 price! Aromas of dark cherry fruits, and balanced oak peek through Velvety, fruit forward and balanced mouthfeel with nice tannins and acidity. Decant for a min of 50 min! — 7 years ago

Silvery/Light Gold color. Aromas and flavors of ripe pear, passion fruit and gooseberry. Nice and spicy on the finish with a touch of minerality. Very fruit forward. Missing the usual/noticeable herbal and grassy notes typically found in California Sauvignon Blanc. Rich and fleshy texture along with extremely vibrant acidity. Well rounded and an excellent food wine. Quite good and a great value! Presented by Nick Goldschmidt, Winemaker. — 7 months ago

Dark violet/purple color. Aromas of blueberry, black cherry/currants, tobacco and cocoa. Same fruits on the palate along with dark plums, black licorice, coffee and spicy oak. Long lasting note of dark chocolate on the extended earthy finish. Medium-plus bodied with reasonably smooth tannins for such a young wine. Opulent, bold and rich. It will interesting to see how this wine evolves over the next few years. Presented by Nick Goldschmidt, winemaker. — 7 months ago
