Excelente combinação de duas uvas com personalidades distintas, mas que se complementaram neste vinho argentino de uma suavidade marcante, apesar de seu teor de 14,3%. A temperatura foi importante para apreciar seu sabor de frutas maduras. O mesmo estava a 22 graus e isso, para mim, foi fundamental. Após a oxigenação ele revelou-se de forma intensa, com notas misteriosas que me remeteram a quweida Buenos Aires e ao som do inconfundível tango. Vale a pena provar. — 10 years ago

A delightfully mature nose with dried and fresh red fruit, loamy soil, allspice and hint of creamy vanilla. Palate is lively but tannins are gaining the upper hand. This most have been a monster in its youth. Cassis, cranberry, red cherry fruit mingle with lots of spice. Finish is had fresh and dried red fruit notes. It is missing just a bit of depth. This was a dynamite suggestion from the sommelier and a lovely match to the amazing interpretation of suckling pig. — 8 years ago
After years trying to taste it in a proper manner, I finally found the opportunity over a decent red pepper steak with red grape sauce. I was surprised not to see Alicante Bouschet into this baco original from the heights of the Serra de Sao Mamede in Portalegra, but the truth is that the typical granite soils from the region are powering this Touriga Nacional to its best!!
