A blend of Xinomavro, Krassato and Stavroto grown on the slopes of Mount Olympus. Nectar of the gods?
Fresh, aromatic, enticing nose full of red fruit, dried herbs, flowers, with some baked clay notes and a peppery note towards the finish. Reminds me a bit of COS Cerasuolo from Sicily, but more aromatic.
On the palate this is surprisingly light - yet with loads of character! Nicely polished tannins, juicy acidity, great tension. The fruit slowly mellowing, but there’s depth here, a mineral core and a flow that is just amazing.
At ~20€ this is just unbelievable & unbeatable value. Delicious!! — 3 days ago

Delicious Xinomavro blend. Drinks like a Cab Franc/Cab Sauv blend. Plenty of delicious ripe fruit up front, followed with pyrazine and tannic character with a medium + finish. Probably not very ageable, but delightful drinking now. — 8 years ago
