Sweet and still drinkable red for people who like dry. Not overpowering at all. β 8 years ago
Mellow and easy to drink. Goes down smooth. Good with steak. π β 10 years ago
A shooting star smashes into the Rock, exploding into chunks of pulpy white grapefruit and sparkles. Thank goodness for tinted Aviators, or the stinging might be unbearable; so far, just the right amount of tingling. β 10 years ago
Thanks Caia for this wine! I really like it! β 11 years ago
The most robust of the Individual Vineyard Chardonnay releases. Bought at the Cellar Door around 6 years ago. Such intensity on the palate. White peach, ripe grapefruit, smoky and mealy. The label on the bottle says βOne of our very best vintagesβ. An excellent Chardonnay by any measure. Showing the strength of the Mornington Peninsula for the Burgundian varieties. Had another bottle 24 weeks later on 11th July 2023 with consistent notes. Funky smoky mealy notes with the winemaker showing his skills in a good vintage. Medium to full bodied of great intensity. Certainly an excellent new World Chardonnay. Still at 95 points. β 3 years ago

Wine trip 2013z. Good warmed β 11 years ago
Bought this at the Cellar Door several years ago on the boys Rugby trip to Melbourne. A light to medium crimson with a tawny transparent appearance. A nose of fresh red fruits (cherry) with a savoury twist. Some earthy sinewy nuances. A light to medium bodied palate. On the 2nd day more savoury, more perfumed and more attractive. An excellent Pinot Noir from a good Pinot Noir district as in the Mornington Peninsula. β 4 years ago
Very grapey and juicy. Enjoyable. Reminds you of your weekend getaway. β 6 years ago
Delicious spiced wine. β 7 years ago
Lil bit sweet but aging really surprisingly nicely... tertiary almost cidery notes developing. Great acid! Liking this a lot more than I was expecting. β 9 years ago
Wonderful peach flavor β 10 years ago
Did not find this to be anywhere near as enjoyable as the first time around. Potentially because it was the 7th Cellar Door of the day the first time tried, potentially becauase it was served chilled. Found there to be minimal influence from the Gamay served at room temp. Notes of sour cherries, soil, rhubarb compote and smelt like my grandpas hayshed β 10 years ago
