This is so full of life. Look at the presentation in the glass. Great nose of mulberries and saddle leather. Mid palate is juicy, powerful and still quite tannic. Some tertiary notes of sage are evident, but still a wonderful experience.

My understanding is that this is a new wine from a partnership between Jim Schwartz and Heidi Barrett celebrating women in wine. It’s great and the QPR is outstanding. Go grab some before the price gets nutty.
2-3 hour decant in bottle. Medium body, cherry, light currant, a hint of chocolate, grippy/grainy tannins poke out a little past balanced (but I liked this), and clean finish. Great stuff! — 4 years ago

Agree w notes from @Ira Schwartz—dark plum and a touch of prunes, cocoa powder, some cedar and beautiful tannins. Opened up nicely on day 2. Def needs a min 3-5hr decant. Beautiful wine. — 3 years ago
Wine was suggested by the magician himself @Ira Schwartz . We decanted the wine and it was needed. The wine developed well over the course of about 90 mins. At first it was a smooth mineral forward wine but developed some complex fruit flavors such a pear. It paired well with both the short rib lasagna and the sea bass my wife and I had that night. — 5 years ago
