This is a sick wine!!😜 Let this breath for 25 minutes and if you are drinking alone you will finish in less time than it breathed! So damn good! A harmony of nose, structure, balance and finish. Still has 10+ years in the cellar but no reason to wait.

Wine was suggested by the magician himself @Ira Schwartz . We decanted the wine and it was needed. The wine developed well over the course of about 90 mins. At first it was a smooth mineral forward wine but developed some complex fruit flavors such a pear. It paired well with both the short rib lasagna and the sea bass my wife and I had that night.

Not sure how it could be any better but I knocked off a point for principle.🥇

What can derail you from Delectable for a few months? Perhaps a global pandemic and all the associated work it brought? Hopefully back to stay and rating the backlog that got me through it 😂 Classic Cali Chard - tropical, citrusy notes with almost a waxy or silky mouthfeel. Very little if any butter or oak, and always a delight!

Amazing juice! A creamy savory mustiness like a gorgonzola lumped in with viscous tropical fruit merengue, yet somehow light and crisp in weight and temperament. There are not really any white Burg analogies but who cares...
