Delicate, low alcohol, highly expressive nose of violets, cherries, cinnamon and clay earth. On the palate, tart red and blue fruit, floral and peppery. Tastes a bit like a cross between Beaujolais and lighter style northern Rhone. Drinks every bit as lovely as that sounds. — 10 years ago

Very good Altesse. Orange marmalade and fresh acidity. I prefer Peillot for the price. — 8 years ago

2011. Sort of a more austere cry Beaujolais: crushed rock and violets, just more rock and less fruit. — 12 years ago
