To me Tavel rose’ are a leg up on other rose’. This is bottled sunshine. Lots of dusty fruit predominantly jolly rancher-ish strawberry/blueberry. Compliments food. Great mouthfeel. — 7 years ago

Excellent full body rosé. Long finish after opening for 15-20 minutes. Complimented equally by salmon or by veal. This is how rosé is supposed to be. — 8 years ago
Fermented forest floor, with a lot of heat.
Wine has been decanted (like most I drink) for 3 hours.
Deep saline cured cassis, coriander, mojito mint, licorice, and touches of Croatian sour cherry preserves.
Long chains of cedar tannins and light acidity.

Brought to David’s, surprised by how well it held up over the twenty years! Ask the rough edges have been sedimented down! Still a nice earthy floral profile with a smooth almost silky palate and finish. Great with the mild Indian dishes. — 8 months ago
