Domaine De La Maladière

Château de la Charrière

La Maladière Santenay 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2015

Hay, cherry, crushed rock, leather, vanilla. Quite a nice typical, barrel aging showing, burgundy nose. The palate is very well balanced : strong acid backbone and delicate cherry notes with some grip on the sides. A silky layer all around that makes it very delicate and approachable, some tannins that kick things up a bit and a finish with cherry and almost raspberry with a pinch of vanilla and some oak. Nice finish that lasts for a while. Very delicate and tangy. Good wine. — 5 years ago

La Maladière Chablis Chardonnay 2015

Consistently solid fairly inexpensive Chablis that has good tension and an attractive acidity and hints of lemon. Served at a friend's rehearsal dinner. Decent choice. — 6 years ago

Killer Condrieu from a new name. Amazing nose. Floral but also intensely mineral. Yellow fruits, some apricot. So so aromatic but not vulgar. Rich but fresh with excellent acidity and purity. Balanced and finishes mineral and long. Awesome texture. Racy. Like icing on a cake. Long and concentrated. Wonderful. @Delectable Wine it’s Andre Francois. Thanks. — 4 years ago
