Nose with lots of herb notes, light red fruits, earth and white pepper.

Light to medium in body, and lightly creamy, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with raspberries, strawberries, citrus and spices.

Elegant and not as fruity as it looks.

100% Aleatico grapes were aged in ceramic vats for 6 months. A tiny production of only 333 bottles made.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Fantastic wine, just under £100 at L'isola last night but finished off whilst cooking Christmas turkey at home today. Very expensive wine but fabulous soft tannins on the back and long lingering flavours on the tongue. Not an everyday wine, but worth the money for special occasions with my dear wife😍🍷 — 8 years ago
