Another Total Wine pick up. Love those Santa Barbara AVA's, and have been surprised by Clendenen in the past. This one doesn't disappoint and for the price point, you should definitely pick a bottle up | ~$26 | #aubonclimat #pinotnoir

Raspberry, Rainier cherry , kirsch, bright acid. 2012 on March 26, 2017 — 7 years ago
Wow! Enjoyed it as a pairing at 1500 Ocean at Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego on 2/14. One of the most unique and spectacular whites I've ever had. Hint of cantaloupe with a floral tinge. Smooth but with some body. Enjoyed again at Bouchon in Yountville on 2/26. We were ecstatic to see it on the wine list. — 9 years ago

2000 vintage. From Jay. 2000 Bartolo Mascarello - Brief Note from Galloni Historical Retrospective Held in London April 26, 2016. Black fruits, Black cherry with some menthol. Good sweetness on the entry. Good acidity. Weak on the rear pallet. Finish is somewhat weak. Nice ruby colour. More in the style of what Maria Teresa's father than her. Fruit is much more muted. It has integrated well over the years from the initial barnyard aromatics that it displayed when initially bottled. Drink no to 2020. 89/100 — 8 years ago

Definitely one of the better Chenin Blancs I've had. Balanced, not tart, or grassy, or overly fruity. Solid. One of my favorite whites in a long time! Z really liked it too. Took to Etts for Thanksgiving.
Got at Vendome. Not a cheap white at $26+ (can't remember exact $), but you get what you pay for. — 2 years ago
