Love this Petnat style. Not for everyone. Reminds me of a Basque Sidra. Concentrated fruit salty refreshing crisp. Great as an aperitif — 10 years ago
What an interesting Zin. Does not taste like a typical Zin, but it's very good. Fantastic little wine for the price too. — 10 years ago

This 2011 was a treasure, picked it up from Davenport when they were selling some of the wines Kurt had collected over the years. We toasted to Kurt and were rewarded with a beautiful full and smooth wine like velvet leather and dark red rose. Damn — 4 years ago
Savennieres is one of my favorite white wines as it offers a lot to explore!
I am getting bruised pear, sour apples, lemon, mango, ginger, minerals, herbs, minerals, a touch of honey and lanolin.
I possibly opened this a little to soon as it is missing characteristics of cheese rind and wooliness that I really like in a well aged Savennieres!
Delightful wine for a Sunday evening even if it is snowing in Davenport, IA. — 6 years ago
