Cranberry, white pepper, and oak. A touch tart but fun. — 4 days ago
Bright gold color. Lovely aromas of white flowers, green apple and orange zest. Flavors of unripe peach, lemon, apple, asparagus and a distinct note of white pepper on the long and lingering finish. Bone dry with mouth watering acidity. Just a bit of CO2 right out of the bottle. Clean and crisp. So refreshing. Aging nicely. A taste of Spring! Thanks for sharing, Kase! — 2 months ago

One of the wines we tried on our trip to Napa! — a day ago
Good body, very smooth. I enjoyed it! — 18 days ago

Started off very hot, with alcohol hitting in the back of the throat. Maybe not too surprising at 16% ABV. By the end of the meal, was drinking beautifully and had mellowed out with nice integration of alcohol and tannins. As much as I love old world, great Napa cabs never disappoints. 12/25/23 — 4 months ago
Delectable Wine

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Hershey Vineyard is fabulous. At age ten, it remains quite youthful. Black cherry, gravel, menthol, licorice and spices all run through this potent Howell Mountain Cabernet. All the elements are so well balanced. The 2012 is a seriously beautiful wine, as it always has been. What a knockout! It is the clear standout in this tasting, but it is definitely a wine for readers who appreciate mountain structure and intensity. What a wine! (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2024)
