Aromatics of new leather and dried fruit. Not your average Côtes du Rhône as you would expect from Chateau de Beaucastel. More full bodied than expected to go with our chicken dish. Far richer than Guigal’s version of Côtes du Rhône. Had my last bottle 11 weeks later on 27th February 2026 with consistent notes. — 3 months ago
100% Syrah. This is a very inexpensive Cotes but 2019 was a banner year. Velvety and full bodied. Notes of black cherry, graphite and cocoa powder. Medium tannins brings a decent finish. Nicely paired with a spicy grilled chicken. — 5 months ago

This falls in the category of excellent qpr. At roughly 10€, this a solid everyday drinker. Full bodied, good fruit and mouth watering acidity. Championed by Jeb Dunnuck who consistently gives this 95 points. Recommended. — 20 days ago
