I ask for a sweet wine not from Jerez (Sherry) and she gives me a taste and says do you want a full glass? To this wine I say F*#& yes! Super acidity makes this drinkable as heck! Passion fruit, papaya, beeswax, honeysuckle and bitter orange notes on the nose and palate. Nice mouthfeel, with body yet super smooth. Paired with chocolate mousse and passion fruit ice cream, I am feeling extremely guilty and already planning my run for tomorrow morning! — 5 years ago

Very mello and flavorful. A little sweet, but that can be a nice break. — 5 years ago
Baron De Ley Finds Monasterio, Cosecha 2003, Rioja. Bought before 2013. Probably around $40. Waited too long to drink. Was still very rich, with strong tannins. The fruit flavors were still there. Way too much sediment. Had to decant through coffee filter. — 7 years ago
Spice, dark berry, plum, black licorice, beautiful acidity — 4 years ago
Beautiful albarino, great with seafood and salad. Had it at La Cosecha in Paso Robles CA. Excellent food wine, white peach, nice acidity and brightness, nice finish. What a value. — 5 years ago
