Color of ruby and cranberry juice. Quite clear. Nose of spice, dried strawberry, tobacco leaves, cherry jam, strength of alcohol, and ripe grapes. Taste basically follows the nose with addition of marginal tannins and hint of black pepper. Also some more sweetness note. Aftertaste of some more ripe grapes and a tiny bit zesty. Encore passablement austère, les tanins font sentir leur présence. Le fruit (noir) est présent mais en arrière-plan, ce sont les notes de bitume qui attirent l'attention. C'était ma dernière bouteille de cette cuvée. Je crois que je l'aurais davantage appréciée dans 5 ans. Fort bon tout de même, mais clairement plus intellectuel qu'hédoniste. — 4 years ago

Il sauvignon nella Loira è diverso, naso intenso e fine, elegante, note varietali delicate ma nette, precise, pulite, una bocca morbida rotonda, in grande armonia, fresca e allo stesso tempo burrosa come uno chardonnay. Un solo difetto... Poco persistente, quasi corto ma lo perdono volentieri visto il piacere che dona. — 8 years ago
