Luca Maroni gave this wine a 95. I wouldn’t go that high but it is very good — 8 months ago
Delicious- marking this St. Paddy's day properly: squid ink caprese and Calabrese! Delightful easy Sicilian wine- medium body but just the perfect amount of spiciness up front which then settles quickly. If I can find it again, purchasing many more bottles. Lady Doctor Delectable friends, take note- I'm arriving to your residences with this. — 9 years ago

09/19/24 with spaghetti (from Italy class 8/8 $24.99 total wine rate96). Was a nice wine with spicy fruity start but nice easy finish. Would buy again at this price point. — 7 months ago

Picked up at Total wine. Really great for a Sunday bottle. We had it with pasta and sardines. Perfect accompaniment — 3 months ago
A super Tuscan that Rhonda loves. Buy a case or two. $15 at total wine and more (and often 15% off). Thus is the IGT. There are several others that look similar. — 2 years ago

St. Giorgio Brunello di Montalcino by Castellani Family offers a welcoming refined, fruity and savory and well-spiced to keep everyone engaged and easygoing glass after glass. A decently structured with rounded tannins and progressive harmony. The Castellani family crafted it to resonate onto a confortable price point which you don’t see many accesible Brunellos. The 2019 is already reaching its peak as this one was vinified to drink soon rather than later. Cheers! — 16 days ago
