Freeman Vineyard & Winery is the fruition of a 20-year dream shared by Ken and Akiko Freeman to craft cool climate CA Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Aged for 11 months in French oak (29% new), with grapes from vineyards Pratt, Connell & Keefer Ranch. Aromas of rich berry fruits with oak notes. On the palate concentrated fruit, strawberry and black cherry with a savory earthy character. Lingering finish with smooth tannins, great but needs a little longer in the cellar. Small production 300 cases. — 7 years ago
Lovely perfumed nose with red cherry, raspberry, watermelon, red tea, mocha, thyme, and just a slight hint vanilla. The medium to full body feels deceptively light, thanks to a juicy palate with savory undertone. Sweet fine grained tannins leads to a long lingering finish.
A really beautiful Kiwi PN. — 2 years ago
Decanted for 2 hrs drank over 2 more. Bergamot vanilla and dark chocolate and that cracked black pepper we know in Syrah. Tobacco on the nose. Tastes young like it could age for a bit, nicely. — 8 years ago

Cask 321 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Gabrielle Limited, from O' Connell Family Wines. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc. Thanks to my friend Rafael Marrero for sharing this outstanding wine with us in his recent visit to Napa Valley. Well balance red wine. Enticing aromas of ripe dark berries, violets, vanilla and a touch of leather. On the palate this wine feels silky with a punch of red and dark fruit flavors, nut meg and hints of dark chocolate, fresh herbs and earth. What a wonderful wine! — 9 years ago
