love this one...nice balance and wonderful full pinot flavors...a favorite! — 4 years ago
Expected way less. Drank like early 90s meursault (in some cases better) didn’t have the ‘zing’ like but then I realized we’re taking 16 years. Gary’s rosella’s vineyard is a grand cru Monterey site and this comes correct in every way. Baking spices, warm apple pie and candies citrus on the nose with a slightly materized and compote palate. A long and intriguing finish. Made by bernardus former winemaker mark Chesebro. If you’re not on that email list, now is the time www.chesebrowines.com. His wines run $18-30 for Albariño, vermentino, pinot, Grenache and syrah. Insane values — 5 years ago

My buddy Ian brand coming correct. Sf chronicle wine maker of the year a few years back. Making a good name for our place Monterey. Listen to the bedrock podcast with Ian! It’s a good listen and the wine is super thoughtful. I can say im super thankful he and heather are keeping this going! Thank you heather brand for pouring and being the great host! Always gracious and kind. Ian and heather are bringing Monterey back up where it should be with the likes of Mark Chesebro (arroyo seco), tira nanza, russel Joyce and a few others. Big ups @Lee Lightfoot for letting me join you and Julie today. No doubt Carmel valley is on the rise again. Worth a visit! Contact me for appointments before summer — 4 years ago
