This “Spinal Tap” wine takes it to 11! It is not the Cannonball which you see in the supermarket, but a more serious vintage with an actual cork. When the inestimable Ondine Chattan joined the Naked Wine collective, she brought an allotment of this wine with her.
This is an impressive cheaper cocktail wine, with bright berry and mocha flavors over a medium bodied tannic structure. At the offered price point, less than $20, it is a very good “sweet spot” wine.

Excellent!!! Really crisp with nice apple undertones. — 6 years ago
This wine is a nice blend of black fruit, oak, and floral tastes and aromas. Simply marvelous with mushroom dishes. My friends loved this wine as well. — 6 years ago
Really good for a Pinot noir. Went amazing with sirloin meatloaf. — 2 years ago
The inestimable Ms. Chattan has done it again, delivering one of the nicest Gewurtztraminer wines around. Pear and honeysuckle flavors are kept balanced and dry, with only enough residual sugar to stand up to spicy food. This is not a hot tub party wine by any stretch of the imagination, but a serious white meant for creative food pairings! Bravo! — 2 years ago
Wow! Great red blend. Super spicy and a little wet forest. Just delicious. — 5 years ago

Wonderful bold, full, soft finish. Excellent with the bride and groom! — 6 years ago
This delicious PG is made in an idiosyncratic style. It’s sweeter than one might expect but not overly sweet, full of bright Fuji apple and Bartlett pear flavors, with a touch of honeysuckle. This wine paired extremely well with spicy Chinese food. — 2 years ago
Approachable. Lots of floral character, dried pedals, pine tar, mud groom, and tilled garden dirt. Lighter mouthfeel, but classic Nebbiolo tannin. Cherry and strawberry fruit. Dusty. Delicious. Plenty of length. — 4 years ago
What? This red blend is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Nuff said — 5 years ago

I thought it was a nice, easy drinking Pinot. — 7 years ago

With some breathing, this wine becomes very lovely. Cherries, strawberries, hint of smoke and vanilla, little pepper-just enough tannins for bite and fresh acidity!! Had it with English cheddar cheese and apples and it worked! — 9 days ago
