Very nice Riesling. Strong taste of fruit. Maracuja, Pineapple and peach. Almost no acid unlike most Rieslings. Great "Schoppe" — 8 years ago

Tonight I have opened the 2018 Château Montrose La Dame de Montrose. This wine is from the left bank of Bordeaux, St.Estephe. A blend of 52% Merlot, 39% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc.
The nose hase very expressive notes of black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, blaxk currant, herbaceous notes, violets, chocolate and mint.
The palates gives us notes of black cherry, blackberry, black currant, bell pepper, graphite and underbrush.
This wine is medium to full bodied with a silky, velvety mouthfeel and beautifully balanced, medium+ acidity and medium+ polished tannins that move seamlessly into a long dark fruit spicy finish. Well, Happy Birthday to me. This is the wine I chose to have even though it was four days after my birth date. I wish everyone a healthy and safe weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 4 years ago
